The Role
Amrik Trucking — a member of the A-1 Holdings family of companies — is hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers to haul pallets, pallet components, and raw lumber throughout the Pacific Northwest. All routes are no-touch freight; your job is to drive safely and deliver on time.
You'll work with a tight-knit team that values reliability, professionalism, and safety above everything else. Routes are primarily regional — most drivers are home regularly. We run compliant equipment, pay on time, and treat our drivers like professionals.
This is a full-time, safety-sensitive position subject to FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse registration, DOT physical, and full driver qualification file completion per 49 CFR Part 391.

What You'll Do
Essential Duties
Safe Transport
Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport pallets, pallet components, and lumber safely across PNW routes.
FMCSA Compliance
Maintain accurate ELD logs, complete pre/post-trip inspections, and adhere strictly to HOS regulations.
Route Execution
Follow assigned regional delivery routes, meet delivery windows, and communicate proactively with dispatch.
Vehicle Maintenance
Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections. Report mechanical issues promptly to fleet management.
Load Verification
Confirm freight accuracy, secure loads to company standards, and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
Professional Conduct
Represent A-1 Pallets with professionalism at every customer site. No-touch freight — drop and hook only.
Who We're Looking For
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable Class A driving experience
- Must pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Clean MVR — no major violations in the past 3 years
- FMCSA HOS regulation compliance
- Registered in FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Must be 21+ years of age (interstate commerce)
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years regional/OTR Class A CDL experience
- Hazmat endorsement (H)
- Experience with flatbed or step-deck trailers
- Familiarity with PNW delivery routes
- Clean PSP record
- Experience with ELD systems (Samsara, Omnitracs, etc.)
Physical Demands
Must be able to sit for extended periods, enter/exit the cab safely, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Must maintain a valid DOT medical certificate from an FMCSA-registered National Registry Medical Examiner.
