ISPM-15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures) requires that wood packaging materials used in international trade be treated to kill pests. Heat treatment (HT) involves heating the wood to a minimum core temperature of 56°C for at least 30 minutes.

Compliant pallets are stamped with the IPPC mark: a symbol, country code, producer number, and treatment code (HT for heat treatment, MB for methyl bromide). Without this mark, your shipment may be rejected at the border.

A-1 Pallets operates ISPM-15 certified heat treatment chambers at our Kent, WA facility. We can produce HT-stamped pallets in standard GMA 48x40 or custom sizes with same-day turnaround for stock orders.
